Zhengzhou XZK Industrial Group Co., Ltd. (referred to below as “XZK”, “we” or “us”) manufactures and exports refractory materials for the iron and steel industry. This policy explains what information we collect through our websites, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what you can do about it.

1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information you give us
When you submit an enquiry, request a quotation, apply to become an agent or contact us in any other way, we collect:
- your name and business contact details — email address, telephone or WhatsApp number;
- your company name, country and business type;
- the technical content of your enquiry: furnace type, lining zones, target tonnage, required grades, service temperature, slag chemistry, drawings and any files you attach;
- the content of the messages you send us, and our replies.
Please do not send us personal information that is not needed for a commercial enquiry. Technical documents and drawings you send are treated as confidential and are covered by a non-disclosure agreement on request.
1.2 Information collected automatically
When you visit our website, our servers and analytics tools record:
- your IP address (truncated where required by law), browser type and version, operating system and device type;
- the pages you view, the time and duration of your visit, and the site or search engine that referred you;
- your approximate location derived from your IP address (country and city level).
1.3 Advertising and attribution data
If you reach our website by clicking one of our advertisements, we record the click identifier attached to that click — Google Ads click identifiers (GCLID, WBRAID, GBRAID) and campaign parameters (UTM source, medium, campaign, term). When you submit an enquiry, this identifier is stored together with your enquiry so that we can tell which advertisement produced it.
This data does not identify you personally. It is used to measure the performance of our advertising and to stop showing advertisements to people who have already enquired.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To answer your enquiry and prepare a quotation — including a zonal lining proposal, material schedule and factory-direct pricing.
- To provide technical support — reviewing your drawings and operating data, recommending grades, and advising on installation and heat-up.
- To fulfil orders — arranging samples, production, inspection, documentation, shipment and after-sales support.
- To measure and improve our advertising — understanding which campaigns and keywords produce genuine commercial enquiries.
- To meet legal obligations — export control, customs declarations, tax and accounting records.
- To protect our website — detecting spam submissions, automated abuse and fraudulent enquiries.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
3. Legal Bases for Processing
Where the EU or UK General Data Protection Regulation applies, we rely on the following legal bases:
- Performance of a contract or steps taken before a contract (Article 6(1)(b)) — responding to your enquiry, preparing a quotation and supplying goods.
- Legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)) — measuring the effectiveness of our business-to-business advertising, preventing abuse of our website and keeping records of commercial correspondence. We have balanced these interests against your rights and consider that the processing is proportionate, since the data relates to your professional role and the purpose is directly connected to the enquiry you initiated.
- Consent (Article 6(1)(a)) — where we rely on consent for a specific purpose, such as non-essential cookies in jurisdictions that require it. You may withdraw consent at any time.
- Legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)) — export, customs, tax and accounting requirements.
4. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies for three purposes:
- Essential — remembering your preferences and protecting forms against spam. These cannot be switched off through our site.
- Analytics — Google Analytics 4, which tells us which pages are visited and how visitors move through the site. IP addresses are anonymised and data is aggregated.
- Advertising — Google Ads conversion tracking and remarketing, which tells us whether an advertisement produced an enquiry.
Google Tag Manager is used to manage these tags. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of personalised advertising through Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info. Blocking cookies does not prevent you from using the site or contacting us.
5. Who We Share Information With
We share information only where it is necessary:
- Service providers — Google (Analytics, Ads, Tag Manager) and our email and hosting providers, acting on our instructions.
- Logistics and inspection — freight forwarders, customs brokers and independent inspection agencies such as SGS, BV or TÜV, limited to the shipment details they need.
- Professional advisers — accountants, auditors and legal advisers where required.
- Authorities — where we are legally required to disclose information.
6. International Transfers
We are based in China and our service providers operate globally, so your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. Where information originating in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom is transferred, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission, or on the necessity of the transfer for the performance of a contract with you.
7. How Long We Keep Information
- Enquiries that do not become orders — up to 24 months, so that we can pick up the conversation if your project restarts.
- Customer and order records — 7 years after the last transaction, to meet accounting and export documentation requirements.
- Analytics data — 14 months, after which it is deleted or aggregated.
- Advertising click identifiers — retained with the associated enquiry for the periods above, and otherwise deleted after 90 days.
8. Your Rights
Depending on where you are located, you may have the right to:
- request a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- ask us to delete information that we no longer need;
- ask us to restrict or object to certain processing, including processing based on legitimate interests;
- receive information you provided to us in a portable format;
- withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent;
- lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, write to market@xzkrefra.com. We will respond within 30 days and may ask you to confirm your identity and the business relationship the request relates to.
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by that Act, and we do not knowingly collect information from consumers under 16 years of age.
9. Data Security
Our website is served over HTTPS. Access to enquiry data is limited to the sales and engineering staff who need it to answer you. We use access controls, spam filtering and regular software updates to protect the information we hold. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the nature of the data.
10. Links to Other Sites
Our website may link to third-party sites, including our own group sites and industry resources. This policy applies only to our websites; we are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites.
